An employee of the RT propaganda channel Anton Krasovsky recorded a video in which he explained his calls to “drown” and “burn” children in Ukraine. Because of these words, spoken in the Antonyms program, RT stopped cooperation with Krasovsky, who served as head of the Russian-language directorate of RT Russia.
The video, which lasts four and a half minutes, was published on Krasovsky's Telegram channel with the caption "Everything I wanted to write and could not."
I'm a fool, I didn't just cross the line, I erased it unintentionally... I think about every child, every mother, every family. And I also think and suffer about every child on the other side, I dream that there would be no deaths, that children would not die. Believe me, the tear of every baby is my pain, my nightmare. I don't wish death on anyone, anyone.
I sit on this air dozens of times a month, and from time to time I am taken somewhere, where the demon that sits on one of my shoulders, as Dostoevsky wrote, can take me. And here he brought me. Sometimes I try to decide whose life is more important, more necessary, more correct. I'm an idiot. There are no such lives.
I'm not asking you to forgive me, I'm asking you to understand, to understand the fool. I am guilty before my friends, comrades, before the RT team. I am guilty before all mothers who heard this text in horror. I am guilty and I will carry this guilt with me, it will be in my dreams and sorrows for the rest of my life, I am guilty. I'm not sure it can be redeemed. I always wanted to be better than the enemy. My country wanted to be better than the enemy and I'm a fool, mixed good with evil and screwed up, screwed up. I don't know if I can be forgiven. I will never forgive myself.
