Voronezh residents encountered problems in public transport due to the mobilization of drivers

The inhabitants of Voronezh complained about the delays in buses and their strong loading. Problems with public transport began to appear after mobilizing 62 drivers. At the same time, the authorities assure that this is only 3% of all city carriers. This was announced by the subscriber "7x7" on October 24.

The townspeople and local media wrote in social networks that there were much fewer transport on the lines. According to eyewitnesses, at rush hour, people stand at stops for more than 20 minutes. One of the carriers on October 6 said that he would remove part of the buses from flights “for mobilization events”.

The city hall confirmed the Voronezh Vesti that mobilization, but officials did not consider this the main factor to deteriorate the work of transport. According to them, 3% of the total number of drivers was called up in Voronezh. According to officials, the problem with transport was influenced by the shortage of personnel and the low cost of the fare. According to them, due to the "difficult financial situation, private carriers sell part of the buses."
