In Anapa, the administration of the local airport named after V.K. Kokkinaki, which has been closed since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, is touting a new service for those who want to feel like an air passenger again.
For only one and a half thousand rubles, you can go through almost all pre-flight procedures and even get part of the in-salon experience, though without, in fact, the flight.
So, everyone who bought a ticket for a tour with the telling name “I want to fly” will be able to go through pre-flight inspection, check in for a “flight”, get a boarding pass and go to the boarding gate.
After that, go on board the aircraft, eat there in-flight meals and even visit the cockpit.
As an additional service, the airport administration offers a transfer to the airport from Krasnodar for 900 rubles.
The advertisement of the new service in the official account of the Anapa Airport drew the attention of The Insider, but by the time the news was published, this post had been deleted.
