Poland recognized the Russian authorities as a “terrorist regime”

Today, the Polish Senate unanimously recognized the Russian authorities as a "terrorist regime." This is stated in the resolution adopted by the upper house of the country's parliament.

The document notes that Poland "strongly condemns Russian aggression and calls on all countries that stand for peace, democracy and human rights to recognize the government of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime."

The Senate also expressed gratitude to the citizens of Poland and the government for providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees who are fleeing Russian aggression.

Earlier, Estonia recognized Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism.
