Four Dagestan girls are forcibly held on the Upper Lars checkpoint for supposedly “filtration events”. They are going to give them to relatives. About this writes the human rights group "SK SOS".

Khadizhit Khizriev, Patimat Hizriev, Aminat Gazimagomedov and Patimat Magomedov today today were going to cross the border with Georgia through the Upper Lars checkpoint, but the border guards detained them and said they told their parents about their whereabouts. They also took their passports from the girls, despite the fact that they are all adults.

The human rights group "SK SOS" suggests that the girls are kept in order to convey to relatives. According to the organization, girls are in mortal danger. In addition, Dagestanks published a video in which they say that their relatives want to kill them.

SK SOS notes that the girls were regularly subjected to physical violence by relatives who demanded religious obedience from them. They were also subjected to female circumcision.
