An unidentified man threw several Molotov cocktails at a migrant center in Dover, England, before committing suicide. This is reported by Reuters, referring to the words of the photographer of the agency, who became an eyewitness to the incident.
The attacker drove up to the center at about 11:20 am (14:20 Moscow time) in a Seat SUV, threw three Molotov cocktails into the building, two of them caught fire. After that, according to a Reuters photographer, the assailant drove a car to the nearest gas station, tied a makeshift noose to a metal pole, threw it around his neck and, starting to move in a car, committed suicide.
Kent County Police said one person suffered minor injuries as a result of the center's arson. “The suspect has been identified and located. The investigation into the incident is ongoing,” the police said. BBC News notes that the police were unable to confirm the report of the attacker's death.
The Guardian writes that the attacker attacked a center where migrants are collected, who crossed the English Channel in small boats to get to the UK. Recently, there have been more such cases. On October 29, according to the authorities, 990 people arrived in the country who crossed the strait between France and Great Britain. The migrants were housed at the center in Dover.
