The solemn presentation of the new, from the point of view of the Russian Orthodox Church, the “concept” of a special military operation took place on October 25, not somewhere, but in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (XXS)-the sacred center of post-Soviet Orthodoxy. Patriarch Kirill held a session of the World Russian People’s Cathedral-a special religious and political organ, invented during the 1993 constitutional crisis, accompanied by the overclocking of the Russian parliament.
The cathedral actually proclaimed the transition to a new, quasi -religious motivation for military operations in Ukraine. From now on, according to the Russian Orthodox Church, Russia does not fight for the difficult to pronounce “demilitarization and denazification”, but right for “prevent the horrors of the apocalypse” on Earth.
The challenge is not abandoned by some earthly people-the President of Zelensky and the “collective West”, but to the Antichrist and his demonic army emanating from the underworld. But if, then all participants receive their status of the “angelic army”, and all the dead warriors of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are the status of holy martyrs, regardless of what way of life they led and what religion had to do.
Kirill first expressed the ideas of the “radical sacralization of Svo” in the television of September 25, and they acquired “philosophical completeness” in a report at the Council of Alexander Dugin, who had recently been listed in the marginals, and now ascended to the podium of the country's main thinker.
During the work of the cathedral, the assistant secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev Alexei Pavlov set out some new approaches to his interview with AiF. Thesis.

The result of the change of power in Kiev in 2014 was the “ban of real values”, which “carry Orthodox faith, Islam and Judaism” ( Buddhism is not mentioned. - A. S. )
Despite the fact that Islam and Judaism do not recognize Jesus Christ as embodied by God, it is this dogma that underlies the Orthodox faith, the representative of the Council of Security attributes to the “false values” the faith of the Protestants, who also revere Christ as God. The freedom of conscience and religion led, according to the official, to the transformation of Ukraine "from the state into a totalitarian hypersect."
As a conclusion from these speculative constructions, Alexei Pavlov formulates the purpose of his: “Conducting the desanization of Ukraine, or, as the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, its“ complete decsitanization ”expressed aptly.
Previously, the first “People’s Governor” “DPR” Pavel Gubarev expressed something like this, who called for the destruction of all Ukrainians, if they do not accept the true, from the point of view of Gubarev’s chiefs, understanding of religion.
It would be too soft to call such rhetoric medieval ...
Like Anton Krasovsky, invisible to himself “too far” in inciting hatred for Ukrainians, the representative of the Security Council in his “religious” zeal also crossed one “red line” sensitive to the Kremlin. As examples of the “sediment” of Ukraine, he cited oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk, who, according to the Russian authorities, belong to the “ultra -orthodox sect” of Hasidov. According to Alexei Pavlov, "the main life principle of Lyubavich Hasides is the superiority of supporters of the sect over all nations and peoples."
The big problem here is that the Hasidic course of Judaism is dominant in modern Russia.
It belongs to the largest Judaist association of the country - the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia ( Feor ), uniting more than 200 communities and covering more than 120 thousand people with its programs. President Feor, the chief rabbi of Russia Berl Lazar, is the laureate of the Orders of Friendship and “For Merit to the Fatherland”, playing an extremely important and delicate role in building an informal relationship between the Kremlin with the leadership of the Israeli and the US business circles.

The Jewish community of Russia, and previously criticized the politics of Russia, indignantly reacted to the “concept” proposed by the Fucius of the Council of People's Commissars. In a statement by Feor, the ideas of the assistant Patrushev are called "insulting millions of believers." The Russian Jewish Congress asked the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor's Office to give legal assessment to the statements of the assistant secretary of the Security Council. The chief rabbi Berl Lazar, for his part, recalled that the Hasides are “not a sect, but a legitimate school of Judaism”, the ideology of which “is based on respect for all religions, peoples and each person”. Moreover, Pavlov’s position, from the point of view of Feor, is “the new quotes of old bloody slander” and “is a great danger”. The official representative of the Khabad of the Khabad in Russia, Borukh Gorin, analyzing the dynamics of the development of Russian propaganda, suggested that the position of the assistant secretary of the Council of People's Commissars is not different from the official position of the authorities.
It is obvious that Russian Protestants and Gentiles, against whose co -religionists in Ukraine, as it is now being found, is being conducted, should feel no less offended and vulnerable than Hasidi ...
The religious motivation of the “sacred military operation” - the dominant trend of the present day, and experts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) also state. At the Council in the XXS in the presence of the leadership of the Presidential Administration, law enforcement agencies and leaders of all “systemic” parties of the Russian Federation, Patriarch Kirill initiated the “churching” of the country's national security strategy. Of course, when the Patriarch speaks of “churching”, it is difficult to understand it literally - by “religion” and “churchness”, he recently implies exclusively the cult of the Great Victory, and not the past, as it was before, but the future.
Instead of the humanistic rights, which, as you know, are imposed by the West, ”Cyril called for the basis of the national security“ faith, love for the Fatherland, sacrifice ”, placing a special emphasis on the latter.
Russian identity was built, in his opinion, “on the victims of previous generations”, which means that it is quite natural and organically organically the current generation to sacrifice itself. Thus, the meaning of Russia's being is reduced to bringing endless victims to a certain “deity”, which with their help somehow holds the world from death.
Just becoming the Patriarch in 2009, Cyril preached that the Great Patriotic War was necessary for the "appearance of divine justice, without which there could be no existence of the world." This logic was clarified by the head of one of the synodal departments of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan John (Popov), who said that
“In the first months of the war, more than 60% of the Red Army, that is, young fighters who were already born in a godless time, ... were killed ... This was a sacrifice that was brought for godlessness.”
After the mentioned “deity” was satisfied with such a “victim”, the course of the war sharply broke and the USSR won.
Probably, even a non -religious person understands how far a similar idea of God is far from the gospel image of a loving and all -merciful Father. But in a country where the gospel quotes such as “Blessed are peacekeepers” or “everyone who has taken a sword will die” (or even simply a commandment “do not kill”), are recognized as a criminal “discrediting of the armed forces”, it is hardly possible to be surprised at this.
You can try to reassure yourself by the fact that these are some kind of “personal errors”, even the heresies of one individual religious figure (as noted in the declaration signed by several dozens of leading Orthodox theologians of the world on March 13 S.G., who demanded the ships of the Eastern patriarchs over Cyril. But the worldly Russian Cathedral reigned complete unanimity, “symphony” And the church authorities of the Russian President Sergei Kiriyenko made an inspired speech about the sacred nature of the “philosopher” of Alexander Dugin, according to him, “the West is the idea of this idea.
Thus, Dugin summed up that is happening in Ukraine - "this is the war of heaven against hell."

It can be seen that Russia as the “only true believing country” fell a great mission to adjust the biblical revelation in favor of the celebration of the ideals of patriotism and rallying around a leader who cannot be mistaken, since it is endowed with divine properties. It is this symbol of faith that preaches the Russian Orthodox Church, and not at all the biblical maxims who “discredit” the armed forces.
Wherever Cyril preached in recent months, he speaks only of Russia's superiority over the rest of the world and the rest of the world caused by this desire to destroy Russia. It seems that the Patriarch does not notice either places or contexts in which his words sound - he laid himself on the altar of this last and decisive battle.
“Some believe that the time has come when you can end Russia,” he said on October 23 in the Serafimo-Diveevsky monastery near Arzamas. “Russia for many - Belmo in the eye ... Many wanted to erase Orthodox Rus' from the face of the earth, but let it not be like that.”
... The position of Patriarch Kirill is unique for the entire Christian world - as modern and historical. This position is so atypical for Christian discourse that even the Loar of Orthodox Churches such as Serbian or Georgian, closest to the Russian Orthodox Church, refuse to divide it. Another former ally of the Moscow Patriarchate, Archbishop of Athens Jerome, even assigned responsibility for the perversion of Christianity in the heads of Russian Christians, calling the latter “restless”, sacrificing themselves to the victim of power.

The Bishop Cathedral of the Polish Orthodox Church, gathered on October 25 in Warsaw, chaired by Metropolitan Savva, stated that "[special operation] in Ukraine completely destroyed a normal life" around the world, "in a special way it affected the Orthodox Church." The cathedral called on the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew as quickly as possible to convene the synaxis of the Primate of all local churches, on which a judgment on the views of Patriarch Kirill should be made and how much the Russian Orthodox Church can be considered part of the Orthodox world after it has been revealed in such an “unexpected way” in the new historical conditions.
Begining in “religious” tones, the events in Ukraine become a serious challenge not only to the entire world order that has developed after the Second World War, but also to the established forms of religiosity, which have not yet found effective ways to protect the reputation of Orthodoxy, the last 17 centuries that existed in the imperial and totalitarian -type states.
