The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow terminated the administrative cases of the defenders of the Bitsevsky forest Tatyana Lapshina and Elena Medvedeva. This was told by Yevgeny Kurakin, a defender cooperating with OVD-Info, who represented their interests in court.
The girls and several other people were detained on August 30 at an event against the destruction of the Bitsa Forest. Protocols were drawn up against Medvedev and Lapshina under the article on disobedience to the lawful demands of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The court dismissed administrative cases due to the absence of corpus delicti.
