A court in Moscow arrested Natalya Vovk in absentia, who is accused of blowing up Daria Dugina's car

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested Ukrainian citizen Natalia Vovk, accused of murdering Daria Dugina, in absentia for two months. Mediazona was informed about this by the press service of the court.

The period of arrest, as specified in court, will begin to be calculated from the moment of her extradition or detention in Russia. Vovk was charged with murder committed in a generally dangerous manner by prior conspiracy and motivated by political enmity (points “e”, “g”, “l” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).

Dugina's car was blown up on the evening of August 20. The Investigative Committee established that a bomb with a capacity of 400 grams of TNT was placed under the bottom of the car on the driver's side.

According to investigators, Vovk came to Russia in July with her daughter. She personally followed Dugina in the parking lot of the Tradition festival in the Zakharovo estate, followed the publicist’s SUV in a Mini Cooper and “detonated the bomb.” As writes with reference to the FSB, having committed a “controlled explosion”, Vovk left for Estonia.
