“This (change of management - MZ) made it impossible to continue the work of the REGNUM news agency in the previous format, which in July 2022, in connection with the 20th anniversary of the agency, was highly appreciated by Russian President Vladimir Putin,” Kolerov’s letter says.

The editor-in-chief told RTVI that the owner of the agency appointed “a person from REN TV” instead of general director Yulia Krizhanskaya. At the same time, no one contacted Kolerov directly about the change of leadership, he complained. “I will carefully analyze how the new government will behave with me, because if it behaves this way with me, then how will it behave with its employees?” - said Kolerov.
