A protocol was drawn up to Kostin on an administrative article on the “discredit” of the army due to the posts that she posted on February 25 and 28, 2022 on her VKontakte page. Kostina wrote "No War" and "I demand to immediately stop the war!" A video file was attached to the post with the name "The Verse of his grandfather Archimedes about the war of Russia and Ukraine."

According to the court, Kostin "undermined trust in the conduct of a special military operation" and with the help of the word "war" distorted "the goals and objectives of the Russian Armed Forces of a special military operation in Ukraine."

How fined for the "discredit" of other ShiES activists

In July 2022, the court in Arkhangelsk fined 60 thousand rubles an activist Elena Kalinin on two protocols on the "discredit of the armed forces" - for posts with photographs that was captured by the Russian army Mariupol.

On June 20, the court ordered the security to pay 35 thousand rubles under the same article for quoting on VKontakte the record of another person, where the author discusses the support of the war in Ukraine. In October, political scientist Andrei Churakov was fined 30 thousand rubles in Arkhangelsk. He published a post on his VKontakte page in June of this year.
