A 24-hour curfew was introduced and then lifted in Kherson

Uncertainty appeared after the reports of the pro-Russian deputy head of the Kherson region Stremousov

UPD: Stremousov published a new post in which he stated that no restrictions were imposed on local residents in Kherson. According to him, the situation in the city is fully controlled by the military and law enforcement agencies.

“Residents of the right-bank part of Kherson are strongly recommended to leave the city and go to the left-bank part of the Kherson region,” he added.

The deputy head of the occupation "administration" of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, published a video message on his Telegram channel, in which he announced the introduction of a round-the-clock curfew in Kherson. After about 20 minutes, the recording disappeared.

“A curfew has been declared in the city of Kherson, which will last 24 hours, around the clock, just so that we can defend our city of Kherson,” he said in his video message.

The entry from Stremousov's Telegram channel disappeared in less than half an hour. After that, a new video message was published, recorded under the same conditions. It does not mention the introduction of a curfew, but calls on local residents to urgently evacuate to the left bank of the Dnieper.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with Moscow volunteers, pointed out the need to evacuate civilians from Kherson. According to him, civilians “should not suffer from shelling, from any offensive, counter-offensive, and other measures related to military operations.” In the Kherson region, as in other regions occupied by Russia, martial law has been in effect since October 19.
