The Moscow City Court extended the arrest of the former coordinator of Navalny's Ufa headquarters, Liliya Chanysheva, until February 3, 2023, reports the telegram channel SOTAvision.

The court closed the hearing at the request of the investigator. He stated that there were “state secrets” in the case.

“A closed meeting is a violation of rights. Investigators do not allow any calls or visits with my husband,” Chanysheva commented on this decision at the meeting.

On September 20, it became known that the investigation into the case of Liliya Chanysheva had been completed. She was finally charged under articles on the creation of an extremist community and/or participation in it using her official position (Part 3 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), public calls for extremist activities (Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code) and participation in non-profit activities an organization that encroaches on the personality and rights of citizens (Part 3 of Article 239 of the Criminal Code).

Based on the totality of the terms, Chanysheva could face up to 18 years in prison.
