A court in Barnaul ordered 10 days of arrest over a video allegedly insulting government officials.

On October 11, the Leninsky District Court of Barnaul sentenced Roman Shklover to 10 days of arrest because of a video allegedly insulting government officials. This was reported by the Information and Analytical Center "Sova".

Shklover was found guilty under the article on humiliation of human dignity (Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the court, the man posted a video on YouTube with statements “expressed in an offensive form against police officers and civil servants, which indicates the humiliation of their dignity on the basis of belonging to the power structure.”
