-Some hoped to find their son in some classified hospital, someone hoped that their son was saved now in Turkey. I hope that now there are no such parents. If there are still such, then this is a mental disorder.

-I studied all the circumstances of this case, talked with the children participating, eyewitnesses and witnesses. Then I began to say that the chances that my son is alive is as close as possible to zero. I did not impose on anyone my point of view, I did not deprive anyone of hope. Many parents may have believed that I destroy their illusions: "Here, they are still alive. There are some secret hospitals. We will look for!" I did not dissuade them, but my family has my own thoughts on this subject. -Here I myself do not understand something. At that time, when we wrote a statement to the court, the assistant to the military prosecutor said to me that ten statements, in addition to mine, have already been written. Two or three families were going to write a statement. It was at the end of May. Accordingly, 13-14 families were supposed to write a statement at the end of May. I know that three or four families flatly refused to write a statement - those that did not believe in the death of their children. - As a result, we were provided with them. I can say that presidential payments came almost immediately after the recognition of our children to the dead. We received a death certificate, and the command prepared all the necessary documents for receiving payments. And we waited a one -time allowance from the Ministry of Defense and insurance payments for two months.

I sent an appeal to the prosecutor’s office, after which both payments came to me and my wife. Two weeks after the statement. They also sent an official answer, as I demanded. In short, a mess occurred at the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. Allegedly, people who were responsible for sending documents did not do it on time. I can conclude that it can happen with these payments throughout the country, if such a mess is happening, ”says Dmitry Shretz.
