The Railway District Court of Novosibirsk sentenced 33-year-old military Vladimir Gorshkov to six years in a maximum security colony for robbery of 50 million rubles. He will also have to return all the stolen money. This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office.

Initially, the military was accused under the article on robbery, but later the article was softened. The verdict was also softened - taking into account the numerous awards received by Gorshvov during the fighting in Chechnya.

According to the verdict, on August 28 last year, Gorshkov and the accomplice were pissing a 23-year-old student from Tomsk when he parked the car. They broke the glass of the car, sprayed the student in the face of a gas spray and abducted a bag of money.

Money belonged to two inhabitants and they received from the sale of cryptocurrency.

A few days later, Gorshkov and his acquaintance were detained while trying to fly away from Kemerov to Moscow. Police officers did not find money with them. The military was sent to the pre -trial detention center, the involvement of his acquaintance in the robbery could not be established - he remained in business as a witness.

Gorshkov partially confessed to the crime: he stated that he stole only 500 thousand rubles. He allegedly took the student for the "drug trafficker".

Initially, the military was charged with a robbery with particularly large damage (from 8 to 15 years of colony), but the prosecutor's office proposed to mitigate the charge. The department considered that the student did not cause any harm to health, and the gas spray can be considered weapons.
