Russian schoolchildren are planning to be taught how to operate drones and shoot rifles

They want to teach Russian schoolchildren military applied disciplines, such as grenade throwing, rifle shooting and drone control. To this end, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Sports of Russia to expand the set of compulsory disciplines of the Ready for Labor and Defense complex. The publication notes that measures for the development of sports in the country have been agreed with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Chernyshenko proposes to add a new standard to the list of mandatory disciplines of the TRP - control of drones, as well as throwing sports equipment and shooting from an air rifle.

In addition, he believes that during the holidays for schoolchildren, military sports shifts can be organized on the basis of children's camps.

Earlier, Chernyshenko said that, in his opinion, the TRP is "a powerful incentive for the development of mass and professional sports." At the same time, he recalled that President Vladimir Putin instructed to achieve an indicator of 70% of Russians regularly involved in sports by 2030.
