A group of wives and mothers mobilized from the Kursk region entered Starobelsk to join their husbands and sons, who had previously retreated from the line of fire near Svatovo in the Luhansk region, the BBC Russian Service reported.

The relatives of the mobilized did not wait for any reaction from the military command, to which they had previously addressed with a demand to return the military to the territory of Russia. On the morning of November 11, about a dozen women in several cars drove into the territory of the Luhansk region of Ukraine. They got to Starobelsk, where they ran into a Russian military convoy, which was also on its way to the mobilized. The wife of one of the servicemen said that the mobilized were located on the ground in one of the villages near Starobelsk. They didn't have food.

The military convoy took the mobilized, the families followed. The military promised the women that they would be all right. They were also promised that the mobilized would not be accused of desertion, but "some kind of trial is underway." The wives and mothers told reporters they didn't know whether to believe it or not.

“They gave them food, they gave them pills, everything is fine. They said they were going to the hospital. <...> But we completed the task of taking them away from the fire. Then all the guys will call back, we'll see, while we don't know anything else, ”said one of the women.

Earlier, the BBC Russian Service reported that mobilized people were sent to the front line near Luhansk without commanders, action plan, provisions and communications.
