The State Duma proposes to tighten the bill on LGBT+ “propaganda.” Repeated violation may result in criminal liability

The State Duma proposed introducing criminal penalties for the repeated dissemination of "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations," RIA Novosti reports.

Repeated dissemination of LGBT+ “propaganda” through the media can be punished with up to two years in prison, and among minors – up to three years in prison. Repeated propaganda of pedophilia - up to two years, using the media - up to five years in prison, the news agency reports.

So far, it has been assumed that LGBT+ “propaganda” will only be subject to administrative liability.
