The Kremlin has developed a new “export image” of Russia. His ideology: “America is a pussy” - “Medusa”

Sources close to the Kremlin told Meduza that in the spring of 2022, the government began developing a new “export image” for Russia. According to them, the country is planned to be promoted as the global "leader of the oppressed countries" who do not want to have "nothing in common" with the West and plan to follow a "special path." Ideological influence will extend to some states of Southern Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.

Previously, the Russian authorities used the concept of "soft power", in which the countries of "old" Europe were exposed. As part of it, the Kremlin tried to show that Russia is the same democratic state.

“Now the vector is different – ​​anti-Westernism, harmful Anglo-Saxons, colonial oppression and so on. Therefore, the territory for promoting the agenda is different - these are former colonies, the post-Soviet space, plus not the richest countries in Europe, which may also feel offended, ”said one of Meduza’s sources.

It is planned that within the framework of the new ideology, Russia will promote the idea of ​​the "decline of the West" and the redistribution of forces in international politics. “To put it simply, America is a cunt,” one of the interlocutors specified.

“The West has oppressed your countries for centuries. There is no real freedom there. All posts and financial flows are scheduled in advance. Russia offers a fair world order with many centers of power that it is ready to moderate,” Meduza’s sources formulate the new concept.

As conceived by the Kremlin, Rossotrudnichestvo will promote the new idea, using its branches in different countries. It is planned that tens of millions of dollars will be allocated to promote the ideology in South America.
