RBC received materials from the defense of the ex-Chief Editor of Tatler Arian Romanovsky, who had previously been sent to a pre-trial detention center in a case of extortion.

According to the documents, in accordance with the agreement with Ksenia Sobchak, Romanovsky was "obliged to post materials at the request" from her, and in case of violation of confidentiality conditions, the journalist could demand five million rubles. The terms of confidentiality were in effect for five years after the dismissal.

The same clauses were in the contract with Life journalist Tamerlan Bigaev, who was a writer and one of the administrators of the Put Out the Light telegram channel. Now he is also in jail.

Ksenia Sobchak herself previously said that she had nothing to do with the telegram channel and was not its owner. Now Sobchak is a witness in the case of extortion from the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.
