The State Duma has compiled a list of games that they want to ban for LGBT propaganda. It includes more than ten of the most popular games - from Assassin's Creed to Sims 3
State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova proposed to ban video games in Russia, which, in her opinion, promote homosexuality, pornography, as well as cruelty and violence.
Lantratova prepared the relevant amendments for a bill banning "propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations." The deputies of the State Duma adopted it in the first reading at the end of October. It is also proposed to introduce amendments to the Law “On Information”.
In addition, Lantratova compiled a list of games with LGBT characters. It includes recognized hits from a variety of gaming genres. In particular, several parts of Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Dragon Age, Life Is Strange, The Last of Us, Fallout, Apex Legends, RimWorld, Overwatch, Le crime du parking and The Sims 3.
“In all these games, there are gays, lesbians, transgenders and bisexuals,” Lantratova explained.
