The Ministry of Defense spoke about the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the Dnieper

The Ministry of Defense for the first time commented extensively on the withdrawal of troops from Kherson:

• All units completed the transfer to the left bank of the Dnieper at 5 am on November 11. At the same time, there are allegedly no losses of personnel and equipment: "not a single piece of military equipment and weapons was left on the right bank."
• At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered five blows to the crossing, but could not disrupt the retreat. 28 HIMARS missiles aimed at the crossing were shot down, five more were withdrawn by electronic warfare.
• The Russian Armed Forces carried out effective deterrent actions: "over the past two days, the advance of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in certain directions amounted to no more than ten kilometers." The advance of the Ukrainian forces was held back by artillery fire, aviation and minefields. "The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stopped at a distance of 30-40 kilometers from the area of ​​​​crossings across the Dnieper River," the military department says.

Undermining after the retreat of the main evacuation route - the Antonovsky bridge and the pontoon crossing built along it - the Ministry of Defense did not comment. There is enough evidence of the explosion itself and its consequences .

The picture of the Russian Ministry of Defense is disputed by Ukrainian officials. Deputy head of military intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky the night before claimed that more than half of the Russian group remained on the right bank, and the country's defense minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that a complete withdrawal of troops in two days was physically impossible.
