
Third miners of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University (Irnita) George Byzov and Anatoly Semchenko developed a 3D printer printing snow. This was reported in the press service of the university.
“The idea of creating a“ snowy ”printer belongs to the director of the Irkutsk quarters ANO, professor of practice Irnita Sergey Polorenkov. He promotes the Winter City project, which implies the creation of creative public spaces, innovative technologies that provide a comfortable life in winter, ”the university said.
The printer has already been tested on the ability to print "in the air" without material. In mid -November, students plan to start working tests.
The device is planned to be used to create art objects, windproof walls and labyrinths for children's winter sites.
