The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for Russia to be held financially responsible for the invasion of Ukraine.
The document, in particular, provides for the creation of a register for registering the damage caused and the development of a mechanism for paying reparations.
The resolution was supported by 93 countries (including the US and all EU countries), 13 voted against (including Russia and China), another 74 (including Brazil, India, Serbia, Kazakhstan) abstained.
