The Anderson Cafe chain is undergoing tax audits. The owner criticized the authorities

Several cafes of the AnderSon network are undergoing tax audits at the same time. This was announced by the owner of the network Anastasia Tatulova in her telegram channel.

People in civilian clothes have closed the cafe, talking to employees and taping up video cameras. The entrepreneur said that in every cafe there are “at least five guardians of the law” who “intimidate employees.” She fears that the security forces are planning to "slip something" and asked the subscribers of the channel for help in finding lawyers and representatives of public control.

According to Tatulova, the inspectors take things from the employees (including the personal laptop of the manager of one of the cafes), without drawing up a seizure act, and do not let the employees into certain premises where they carry out “investigative actions”.

Tatulova calls what is happening "a large-scale operation to finally expel [her] from the country." She also said that, according to the words of a “very high-ranking official” transmitted to her, she faces a choice “to jail or shut up and get out of here.”

• In May, Tatulova resigned from the position of Ombudsman for the Protection of Small and Medium Businesses, which she took in July 2020. The businesswoman explained the decision by the fact that she "diverges in views with the state on what needs to be done." According to Mediazona, on Facebook, Tatulova called the war a “tragedy” and a “terrible black time,” and on May 9 wrote “Let there be peace.”
• In June, a State Duma deputy from United Russia, Yevgeny Fedorov, turned to the Prosecutor General and the Investigative Committee with a request to check Tatulova “because of her statements and actions” as an ombudsman. After that, the entrepreneur received a call from the Investigative Committee.
• According to the Caution, News telegram channel, over the past year, at least 60 inspections have already passed in the AnderSon cafe network, as a result of which no violations were found.
• On November 3, Forbes reported that the cafe had filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office due to the "satanic" decoration during Halloween. The complaint was filed by a journalist and author of the book The State of Honor. Monarchy is the future of Russia” Anna Shafran. She asked to “protect the children of the city of Moscow and oblige the administration of the cafe to “stop the propaganda of Satanism.” Shafran also demanded, if there were grounds, to initiate a criminal case under the article on insulting the feelings of believers.
