Kadyrov’s wife became the first owner of the title of “Mother Heroin”

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of "mother-heroine" to the wife of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. Medni Kadyrov became the first Russian woman awarded such a title.

The second laureate of the honorary title was Olga Dyterenko from the Yamalo -Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

When conferring the title of mother, they will receive a one -time payment of 1 million rubles. They will also be presented with a letter and the Order of Mother Heroini.

Initially, the title "Mother Heroin" was established by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 8, 1944 to make up for the country's population after the Great Patriotic War.

In total, about 430 thousand women received the title of "mother-heroine" in the USSR. The last award took place on November 14, 1991.

June 1, 2022-on the International Children's Day, Putin at a meeting with large families proposed to return the title of "Mother Heroin". On August 15, the Russian president signed a decree.

• Medni Kadyrov was born in 1978. Ramzan Kadyrov met his future wife at school. The wife of the head of Chechnya works as a fashion designer. In October 2009, she founded a fashion house in Grozny, producing Muslim clothes.
• The Kadyrov spouses have 11 relatives and two foster children.
• In October, Kadyrov published a video, arguing that three of his minor sons, the youngest of which are 14 years old, took part in the hostilities in Ukraine. According to Kadyrov Sr., they "visited the line of contact", "made their way close to the positions of the enemy and ensured the fire cover of the advancing fighters." In the published video, shooting is heard, and teenagers are firing, including from a grenade launcher.
