Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg claim that they found the photo while monitoring social networks. However, the case materials indicate that the photograph caused “moral suffering” to citizen Bulatov who saw it. “Sova” notes that an earlier statement from Orthodox activist Timur Bulatov became the reason for initiating a similar case against blogger Irina Volkova. In March, Volkova will have to do 180 hours of compulsory work.
