Good morning!
Teachers of one of the schools of the Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory were forced to sacrifice on the Russian army: they were obliged to pay two thousand rubles from a salary of 15 thousand clean. What is the teaching money for, you can read in the news:
- Russia subjected the entire territory of Ukraine to the massive missile shelling: more than 90 missiles were released, 73 of them were shot down by Ukrainian air defense.
- In Ukraine, 15 energy facilities were damaged, more than seven million subscribers remained without power supply. The pumping of oil to Europe ceased due to the failure of the substation that nourished the pumps of the Druzhba oil pipeline.
- In Kyiv, the wreckage of missiles fell to residential buildings, causing fires. One person died.
- Two missiles or their fragments fell in the Polish village near the border with Ukraine, killing two people.
- The Czech parliament recognized the current Russian regime terrorist.
- Speaking from the video at the G20 summit in Indonesia, the President of Ukraine called for stopping the war, but to stop it fairly, and not on the terms of Russia.
Bearing darkness
On Tuesday afternoon, the Russian army inflicted many missile strikes throughout Ukraine. According to the press Attash of the air forces of Ukraine Yuri Ignat, more than 90 missiles were released across Ukraine, 73 of them were shot down by Ukrainian air defense- this is his interview . Blows were mainly struck by the X-101 and X-555 missiles, but there were about 20 “calibers”, as well as ten Iranian Kamikadze drones. The goals were the objects of energy infrastructure in Kharkov, Rivne, Zhitomir, Poltava, Krivoy Rog. The explosions were reported in the Khmelnitskaya, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Poltava and Kharkov regions. In Kyiv, the wreckage of the downed missiles fell into residential buildings, provoking fires. At least one person died. Here is the story of eyewitnesses.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko called this blow the most massive since the beginning of the war. 15 energy objects received damage, among them there are both electricity generation objects and its distribution systems. According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, the main goals of attacks were high -voltage substations and thermal power plants. Due to the blows throughout Ukraine, an emergency power outage was held, more than seven million subscribers were left without light-including half-Kyiv. The authorities called the situation critical. There were serious malfunctions on the Internet.
Unexpected consequences for NATO
One of the Ukrainian energy facilities disabled was the substation from which the pumps of the Druzhba oil pipeline ate - Russian oil enters it in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The sanctions of this oil pipeline introduced by the EU are not concerned, but now the pumping of oil on it is stopped due to the accident. In Hungary, the Council of Security was even collected on this occasion. After blows on the Ukrainian energy system, interruptions with power supply also began in Moldova.
But there is a more disturbing consequence: two missiles fell in the Polish village of Pshevodove six kilometers from the Ukrainian border and killed two people. It has not been reliably established whether these were Russian missiles, the fragments of Russian missiles shot down by the Armed Forces or missiles of Ukrainian air defense - Polish specialists find out on the spot, the troops are brought into increased combat readiness.
On Tuesday, Polish Prime Minister Moravetsky gathered an emergency meeting of the Government and Defense Government Committee. President of Poland Andrzej Duda said in an appeal to the people that Most likely Warsaw is involved in article 4 of NATO agreements, launching consultations between countries - members of the defense union in case of threat of security or territorial integrity of one of them. The US President convened an emergency meeting of the heads of NATO and G7, which are now in Indonesia, after which he did not blame Russia of launching these missiles. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov wrote on Twitter that it was in order to avoid such incidents that Ukraine since the beginning of the war asked NATO to close the sky. The head of the UN warned against further escalation of the conflict.
In the Russian Ministry of Defense, reports of the fall of Russian missiles in Poland were called "intentional provocation in order to escalate the situation."
“G19” and other audacity
Despite the fact that massive missile strikes are prepared very in advance, the missile shelling of Ukraine looked like a response to a video message from Vladimir Zelensky to the G20 summit. Zelensky in his speech called the high meeting “G19”, although the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Lavrov was present in the hall. He announced the need to stop the war, but "it is fair and on the basis of the UN and International Law Charter." Zelensky asked the world leaders not to offer Ukraine “to compromise with conscience, sovereignty, territory and independence” and promised that there would be no “Minsk-3” that Russia would violate immediately after the conclusion. At a press conference, Lavrov called the requirements of Ukraine “unrealistic and inadequate”, and Zelensky’s speech was a rejection of negotiations. Putin’s spokesman Peskov also said that Zelensky’s words “absolutely confirm” Kiev’s reluctance to negotiate.
The UN General Assembly of the UN General Assembly on the need to pay reparations to Ukraine was generally called “formalizing the robbery of our gold and foreign exchange reserves” ( here the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska explains how the compensation mechanism will work, the creation of which approved the General Assembly).
We are waiting for Peskov to answer the accusation of systematic torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war , which sounded against Russia from the Office of the Supreme Commissioner of the UN Human Rights.
After a missile blow to Ukraine, on Tuesday, the Czech parliament recognized the current Russian regime terrorist.
Military reports
On the night on Wednesday, Russia traditionally fired from the Grads of the Marganetsky, Chervonogrigoryevskaya and Nikopol communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region - about 60 shells were released on them. Several outbuildings were destroyed, power lines and water supply lines were damaged.
Heavy battles are going on in the Donbass: here is a report from Seversk Bakhmut district of Donetsk region - from it to the front is only 10 kilometers. There is no news from Pavlovka, the capture of which the Russian authorities previously reported for days - but here is the analysis of the battle for this village with an explanation why the Russian army needs it. The American Institute for the Study of the War predicts that Russia will transfer to the Donetsk region part of the troops liberated after leaving the right bank of the Dnieper, and due to this will achieve some successes, which, however, should not break the overall course of the war.
The Russian Ministry of Defense promises a mobilized reward for the destroyed and captured Ukrainian military equipment - money, however, is not particularly large. The United States, according to CNN, thinks how to modify Gray Eagle drones so that they can be delivered to Ukraine. The US President sent a request to the Congress to allocate 37 billion 700 million dollars to the aid of Ukraine - the second one in a year.
The "Administration" of New Kakhovka, who was appointed by Russia, left the city located on the left bank of the Dnieper and moved to safer areas of the partially occupied Kherson region. The head of this “administration”, Vladimir Saldo, said that the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station stopped generating electricity because it is not needed. From the other side of the Dnieper, it is reported that the energy facility, which ensured the power of the entire right -bank of the Kherson region and a significant part of the Nikolaevskaya, was practically destroyed. “Two vehicles, each weighing 250 tons, are blown up,” wrote Vladimir Kudritsky, head of the board of Ukrenergo on Facebook.
In the disconed territories of the Kherson region, the fixation of war crimes continues: this is the story of some especially egregious cases, but the conversation with the fighter of the special forces of the National Police of Ukraine on work in Kherson.
The President of Russia-on the recommendation of the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Electron Physics Krasnikov- appropriated the title of "city of military glory" occupied by Mariupol and Melitopol. From the rationale presented in the decree, it is not clear when exactly these cities covered themselves with military glory, and even more so it is not clear why they should assign this title now. Here, the interpretation of Putin’s behavior is engaged in political scientist Andrei Kolesnikov (spoiler: Putin has nothing to say, he does not know how to get out of the war).
War: View from Russia
- The authorities of the Belgorod region reported the death of four people as a result of the shelling of the city of Shebekino. What exactly happened there is not very clear.
- In the suburbs, they arrested a mobilized, who scolded and pushed the officer in the Patriot training center. A criminal case has been instituted against him under articles on insulting a soldier and violence against a military leader - he faces up to 15 years.
- On Tuesday, relatives of relatives of the city of Fokino, Bryansk Region, came out on the Web - they ask Putin to return their relatives from the front. Here is a catalog of such appeals that pop up in recent weeks almost daily. Perhaps this practice is soon criminalized: in any case, the court in Arkhangelsk fined a local resident for 15 thousand rubles under the article on the “discredit” of the army for the poster “collecting signatures for the abolition of mobilization”.
- As the “layout” found out , the reservation from the mobilization, which, according to the law, is entitled to journalists, received a very narrow circle of editorial offices - in particular, Brony was not provided by RBC employees, Kommersant and Vedomosti. In full force from the war, only the editorial offices of the poisonous yellow “KP”, “AiF” and “MK” were released.
- Relatives of prisoners sitting in the IK-37 in the village of Yaya, Kemerovo Region, claim that convicts forcibly forced to sign contracts with Wagner PMCs: they are mocking them, they are beaten and tortured with the use of a stamper show.
- The investigators took up the content of the video in which someone breaks the head of a sledgehammer by Evgeny Nuzhin, who had previously been in Ukrainian captivity. This was reported by Ombudsman Moskalkova. The owner of the PMC Wagner Evgeny Prigozhin also connected to the process: as the Concord press service reported , he turned to the Russian Prosecutor General demanding to conduct an audit to establish the circumstances of the murder and proposed his version, according to which the employees of the American special services stole and killed. Perhaps even the press service continues that the nun "was recruited by the CIA and got into prison in advance for 27 years to join the PMC and create conditions for its execution." In response to this, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak said in an interview with Rain that Juzhin had signed voluntary consent to exchange and returned to Russia as a result of exchanging prisoners of war.
- The parents of the Russian military who died in Ukraine are often sued for the “grave” - this is the next story from the Leningrad region.
International Echo of War
- The Ministry of Defense of Belarus ordered by the end of the year to appear at the military registration and enlistment office of all military personnel - "to verify the accounting data." Probably, Belarusians will soon amount to the company at the front Russian mobilized.
- According to Financial Times, Russia is ready to extend the grain deal with Ukraine - in exchange for the resumption of the pipeline, according to which Moscow supplies ammonia to the port near Odessa through the territory of Ukraine (this will give Russia almost $ 2.5 billion of additional revenues).
- In the coming weeks, Magate, at the request of Ukraine, will send mission for nuclear safety to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, as well as three existing nuclear power plants-Khmelnitsky, Rivne and South Ukrainian.
- Banksy confirmed the authorship of the seven graffiti in the Kiev region.
- In Ukraine, a criminal case was opened on the justification of Russian aggression because of the song about “mother-Russia”, which the parishioners of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra sang. At the same time, the Crimea 24 television channel showed a repentant video of a woman, including the songs of Verka Serduchka on the Yalta embankment.
- Chukotka authorities claim that they terminated the agreement with the World Wildlife Foundation due to the “threat of national security”: environmentalists seem to create specially protected territories, which leads to “the rejection of land from the state under the guise of a good for the animal world” (and generally “they are financed by the enemies of Russia”). The WWF said that the agreement expired in the summer of 2022, and recalled that only Russian authorities can create specially protected territories in Russia.

- Rosfinmonitoring introduced the co -founder of Dissernet Andrei Zazakin in the list of terrorists and extremists (he donated money to the Navalny team).
- Moscow theater. Vakhtangov announced that the chief director Yuri Butusov had quit because he could not go to work from Paris. The Council for Culture of St. Petersburg was also cleaned from anti-war elements: the artist was excluded by the artist of the lamp, actress Ksenia Rappoport and curator Dmitry Ozerkov.
- The court in St. Petersburg fined a 17-year-old teenager for 80 thousand rubles for a photo with a bare ass against the backdrop of a blood Savior (“insulting the feelings of believers”). In Moscow, a member of a prayer was arrested for 10 days for the ban on abortion and the burial of Lenin.
- Ksenia Sobchak, according to rumors , went to Rostec to settle the conflict with Chemezov, because of which the administrators of several telegram channels, including her belonging to her.
- The Moscow City Court sentenced the former representative of Aeroflot to the 13 years in the UK in the Gosizmen case. The verdict was passed at the end of August, but it became known only now. What was the Stateismman, no one knows, because the matter is classified. There was no access to state secret.
- On the features of party construction in Russia. Prigozhin, they say , is going to create his own “patriotic conservative movement” under the patronage of the Kovalchuk brothers; About how the “liberal” party “New People” created under their own patronage is financed, read here (curious).
Around the world
- Donald Trump announced the nomination of US presidency - but this does not mean that he will be able to win the republican nomination.
- The UN announced that the world's population reached eight billion. China remains in the populated country in the world, but India will be overtaken quite soon.
- Illegal migration to Europe, according to Frontex , increased by 73%over the year.
- And only in Belarus everything is stable: the trade union leader Alexander Mishuk received 2.5 years in the colony for the call to create a strike committee for Belaruskali (“actions against national security”), and a resident of Minsk was sentenced to four years for registration in the chatbot of the regiment of them. Kalinovsky and Plan "Perigns" (participation in "extremist formation" and preparation for participation in the armed).
