A resident of Yakutia was fined 30 thousand rubles because of the inscriptions “No mobilization!”, “War is death!” and “No to war!” on the walls of buildings

The Yakut city court of the Sakha Republic imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles on a local resident under the article on “discrediting” the army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) because of three anti-war inscriptions on the walls of buildings in Yakutsk. This was reported by the press service of the court.

According to the publication, on October 3 this year, a man wrote “No mobilization!” using a can of red paint. on the facade of the tax office building, “War is death!” - on the wall of a residential building, and “No to war!” - on the building of the Master House store.

According to the security officials, in this way he “shaped the opinion of those around him” about Russia’s participation not in “a special military operation <…> but in the war.” Thus, a resident of Yakutia “undermined trust in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, discredited the special military operation carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, distorted its goals and objectives, and provoked the creation of a negative assessment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the court added.
