Members of a neo-Nazi group were detained in St. Petersburg and are suspected of two murders 20 years ago.

Employees of the main department of the Investigative Committee detained three alleged members of the neo-Nazi “Combat Terrorist Organization” (BTO) in St. Petersburg, according to the department’s website.

The detainees Andrei Romanov, Roman Orlov and Denis Burakov are suspected of two murders (points “a”, “g”, “i”, “l” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) committed in 2003. According to investigators, they killed a passer-by with a non-Slavic appearance in the area of ​​Novoizmailovsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. The Investigative Committee believes that Romanov may be involved in another murder that occurred in the park on Iskrovsky Avenue.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has already chosen a preventive measure for Orlova and Burakova in the form of arrest, its press service reported.

Telegram channel “112” writes that all three defendants were previously convicted in cases of illegal possession of weapons, banditry and murder. Romanov, the channel claims, previously bore the surname Kostrachenkov, and Burakov - Kharchev.

“Combat Terrorist Organization” is a neo-Nazi gang founded by Alexei Voevodin and Dmitry Borovikov, which existed in St. Petersburg in the early 2000s. Its members were accused of eight murders and dozens of attacks. Borovikov was killed during his arrest in 2006, Voevodin is serving a life sentence in maximum security colony No. 18 “Polar Owl” in Yamal.
