The court upheld the claims of Viktor Filinkov, convicted in the Network case, against the colony administration

The court canceled the first disciplinary sanctions imposed on Viktor Filinkov, convicted in the Network case, in the colony, and also declared it illegal to keep him in quarantine in a cell under strict conditions for serving a sentence. This is reported by the telegram channel RUPRESSION.

During admission to correctional colony No. 1 of the Orenburg region, Filinkov was given two penalties in the form of a reprimand and a ShIZO . Later, he was placed in solitary confinement under strict conditions of serving a sentence, where he spent two weeks of quarantine.

These are not the first satisfied claims of the prisoner to the administration of the institution. Earlier, the Central District Court of Orenburg found that Filinkov was illegally kept in the PKT for 20 days in June.

Disciplinary sanctions are regularly imposed on Filinkov and he is placed in the PKT, EPKT and ShIZO. According to RUPRESSION estimates, he spent about 360 days in isolation.

On November 8, the administration of the colony transferred Filinkov to a cell, all surfaces of which were covered with dry putty. The duty officer demanded that Filinkov clean the cell, but he only wiped the bench and table that he used. The staff of the colony drew up a report on the violation of the internal regulations by the prisoners.

“Now he is in solitary confinement at PKT. As for the good news, the day before yesterday he was transferred from a dirty cell covered with putty to the former, ordinary PKT cell. The bed in the PKT cell is fastened to the wall, you can sit on a bench or on the floor, you can’t lie down, ”the telegram channel writes.

In the summer of 2020, Viktor Filinkov was found guilty under the article on participation in the activities of a terrorist community (part 2 of article 205.4 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to seven years in a penal colony. A criminal case on the "terrorist community" Set "" was opened in October 2017: according to the FSB, 11 young people in Penza and St. Petersburg were going to overthrow the government.
