In the Tomsk region, the case of vandalism against a pensioner who made an anti-war inscription was dropped

The magistrate of court district No. 1 of the Kolpashevsky district of the Tomsk region dismissed the criminal case of vandalism against pensioner Natalya Indukaeva, who made an anti-war inscription on the wall of a local cultural center. The case was dropped due to the woman’s active repentance, Mediazona, citing the court’s press service.

reports The court made the decision on September 30. The defendant fully admitted guilt and paid damages.

The case of vandalism (Part 1 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code) against a pensioner on March 17. The press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported then that a woman born in 1961 wrote an inscription with white paint on the wall of the Rybnik recreation center at night. The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not quote the inscription itself, but the photograph in the press release was blurred out. The name of the accused became known from the court website.

Indukaev was also given information on March 17 for 30 thousand rubles because of the same inscription under the article about discrediting the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code).
