The Swedish security service confirmed sabotage at Nord Stream. Remains of explosives found near pipelines

The Swedish security service confirmed that it had recovered material evidence from the site of the Nord Stream explosions, which confirms the fact of sabotage. The department clarified that these were “foreign objects” with traces of explosives.

“The ongoing preliminary investigation should show whether someone can be charged with suspicion and then prosecuted,” the agency’s website states.

In October, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused the British military of being involved in blowing up Nord Stream. Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed the Anglo-Saxons for the explosions, calling the incident a sabotage.
