Evidence of the possible execution of Russian captured soldiers by the Ukrainian military has appeared online.

Two videos have surfaced online. On one of them, the surrender of the Russian military is captured, on the second they all lie in the same poses, but already dead.

The first video, probably filmed by the Ukrainian military in the Makiivka area, shows the assault on the stronghold. The capture of this populated APU was announced on November 14.

At the end, the Russian military, at the request of the Ukrainian soldiers, leave the building with their hands up and lie down in a row on the ground. The video is interrupted by gunfire from the side of the building the Russians were leaving. In slow motion, you can see that the last person to leave the house opens fire on the Ukrainians with a machine gun. In the following frames, a wounded Ukrainian soldier appears. "How are you feeling, Andryukha?" an unidentified person asks him from behind the scenes.

The second video, filmed from a quadcopter, shows the same courtyard where the Russian military surrendered. They still continue to lie on the ground in a row, but already in pools of blood and probably dead.

At the same time, the video of the direct murder of the Russians lying on the ground did not appear in open sources. It is not clear what exactly happened after the attack of a Russian who decided not to surrender.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said it was examining videos of murdered Russian prisoners of war. The Russian Ministry of Defense called the incident "a deliberate and methodical murder by degenerates of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with direct shots in the head of more than ten immobilized Russian servicemen."

The Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case "on the fact of the mass execution of captured Russian servicemen by representatives of Ukraine." Military investigators are taking steps to identify the persons who filmed the video of the execution, the department noted.

The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the incident.

“This is a demonstrative defiant crime. Violation of all possible conventions prohibiting the cruel treatment of prisoners of war, international law and simply morality. We will demand a reaction from the international community and an investigation,” said Valery Fadeev, head of the Human Rights Council.

A week earlier, another video of the execution of a Russian prisoner of war, 55-year-old former prisoner Yevgeny Nuzhin, appeared on the network. As it turned out later, he enlisted in the Wagner PMC while in the colony and ended up at the front. In September, he surrendered to the Ukrainian military. After that, he gave several interviews in which he expressed his readiness to fight on the side of Ukraine.

In November, he was exchanged and returned to Russia, where he fell into the hands of his former PMC comrades, who “tried” him and then executed him by breaking his head with a sledgehammer.

The execution was recorded on video, which was then published on Telegram channels close to the Wagner PMC.

When asked to comment on the incident, the head of the Human Rights Council, Valery Fadeev, then said that "anything happens in war." Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov reacted to this execution with the words "this is not our business."
