Released from Russian captivity, Sergeant of the 36th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mikhailo Dianov, who defended Azovstal in Mariupol, donated the money collected for his treatment to the children of his dead colleagues. Dianov transferred only the first part of the amount to the Association of Azovstal Defenders' Families - three million hryvnias.
“Each subsequent day ( in captivity - Approx. “Cold” ) was given more and more difficult. But I personally knew that my daughter was waiting for me at home. And thanks to many people and each of you, I got the chance to hug her, to communicate with her now, to be near. But there are those children who will no longer see their parents. This is the worst,” Dianov wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, he said that during their detention in the colony in Yelenovka, prisoners were beaten with sticks and electric current, and needles were put under their nails. After being released from captivity, the Ukrainians announced a collection for the treatment of a military man - his hand was shattered, four centimeters of bone were missing.
