The State Belgorod Institute for the Development of Education has developed a manual for children aged five to seven, which tells how to behave during shelling and when mines are discovered, parents of preschoolers said.
The "Preschooler's Safety Notebook" consists of three blocks: "Caution, danger!", "Caution, shelling!" and "Beware of mines!". Each of them includes coloring pages, poems and assignments for types of explosives: “Color those objects where it is impossible to hide the Petal mine”, “Circle those silhouettes that cannot be approached during shelling”, or “Restore half of the house and circle the basement where you need to run when the shelling.
Later, the rector of the Belgorod Institute for Education Development Strategy, Mikhail Sheichenko, said that the training manual was still “raw” and should not have been sent to kindergartens. At the same time, the notebooks were sent to the region in order to "receive criticism."
According to one of the local residents, the parents were unhappy with the manuals, as they believe that children do not need to know about the war.
“My child does not pay attention to all these sounds, the main thing is that parents do not panic. I want to give children a normal childhood - without SVO, ”she said.
