The court in Bataysk fined a girl because of a video with complaints from mobilized

The Bataysk City Court of the Rostov Region fined local resident Olesya Shishkanova 30 thousand rubles under the article on discrediting the Russian army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code). She published a video on a local telegram channel with complaints from those mobilized. The girl informed the publication “7×7” about the fine; the case file is on the court’s website.

In a video published on the Bataysk City telegram channel, mobilized people, including Shishkanova’s brother, talk about the situation at the front. They complained that they were given rusty cartridges and machine guns, and said that many had no combat experience. The men also added that they don’t mind going into battle, but “they don’t want to be a laughing stock” because of the command’s mistakes.

• The authorities are seeking to limit access to videos of mobilized complaints. Thus, in October, VKontakte, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office , blocked a similar video of those mobilized from Kurgan.
