According to the FSB, three Voronezh residents came to pick up an explosive device from a cache in an abandoned building on the outskirts of the city, and during the arrest they “provided armed resistance” to the security forces.
The department published a video showing three men walking around Voronezh with bags. This is followed by footage of three bodies in pools of blood on the floor of an abandoned building. Next to them are two pistols and walkie-talkies.
In the video from the searches of the houses of the dead, the FSB operator stops the camera on the “personnel record book” signed as “the Svoboda group”, patches with a skull from the game Call of Duty , and the flags of the USA and Great Britain.
Separately, at the end, the flag of the “Freedom” group from the computer game STALKER from Ukrainian developers is unfurled on camera. TASS in its news mistakenly calls it “the flag of the Ukrainian party “Volya” banned in Russia.”
The FSB opened a case of preparation for sabotage (part 1 of article 30, part 1 of article 281 of the Criminal Code). The department believes that those killed were planning to “commit sabotage at military and energy facilities” in the Voronezh region. “Two ready-to-use improvised explosive devices and components for their manufacture were seized from them.” The press release calls those killed “members of a conspiratorial cell of supporters of Ukrainian nationalist ideology.”
