Chuvashia's digital development minister, Kristina Mainina, resigned after videos circulated online of her underage son smearing blood on his face, biting off the head of a live frog, and promising to "do something" on the day of a school concert.

Mainina announced her resignation in her telegram channel. According to her, "the wave of negativity that has risen in the ranks of the public should not harm the reputation of the Government of the region." The decision of the official was supported by the head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev.

On the eve of Mainina commented on the situation that unfolded around her son. Reports that he planned to commit a crime, according to the former head of the Ministry of Digital Development, do not correspond to reality. She also asked not to poison her child, noting that psychologists are working with him.

“Yes, it’s not easy with a teenager, moving to another city played a serious role here - he took the change of residence painfully. But I am ready to assure everyone who was frightened by the strange behavior of my son that this was done without malicious intent. Thus, he wanted to attract attention to himself, and this, of course, is my omission, ”Mainina wrote.

On the eve of the telegram channel "Angry Chuvashia" reported that the son of the head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the region, a tenth grade student, Robert, is suspected of preparing a terrorist attack in his own school. The official was called to the police, and her house was searched. The reason is the content of the Telegram channel run by the student. There he posted a video in which he bites off the head of a live frog, eats raw meat and smears his face with blood.

Robert also posted a post in which he promised to "do something" on the day of the scheduled school concert. Then he posted a photo with objects similar to targets.

According to Mash, during a search in the teenager's room, the police did not find weapons, but seized a mug with a swastika, cutlery with Nazi symbols and Eduard Limonov's book "There will be a gentle leader."
