The 31-year-old ex-employee of the press service of the Ministry of Defense confirmed that he is the creator and administrator of the telegram channel "Rybar". He recognized authorship in an interview with RTVI.

“I am really the founder, as I call it, the project“ Fisherman ”<...> Indeed, I am a former employee of the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the Department of Information and Mass Communications. I capitalized the experience that I received as part of work in the Armed Forces in order to engage in my own information activity, ”he said.

Zvinchuk said that he was a personnel officer of the Armed Forces. He also confirmed the previously published information that he studied at a military university at the Ministry of Defense at the translator of the Arabic language. According to Zvinchuk, he served in special forces, worked as a translator in Syria and six months in Iraq.

The publication claimed that he was conducted by a former employee of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense, 31-year-old Mikhail Zvinchuk.

The publication said that one of the readers contacted the journalists who claimed to be familiar with the creator of the Fisherman. He shared the phone number of the author of the telegram channel, and journalists were able to establish his personality.
