
The state -owned company "Dom.rf" will put up for auction most of the buildings and territories of the former investigative insulator "Crosses" on the arsenal embankment in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the media group RBC with reference to government documents.
The FSIN, in the unlimited use of which there were “crosses”, will transmit “Dom.rf” 3.9 hectares of the complex - about 93 % of the entire territory of the prison. On the remaining area there are hostels for overseers. The state -owned company will act as an agent when selling a complex.
Representatives of Dom.rf promised to consult with the authorities, experts and residents of St. Petersburg, as well as potential investors on the transfer of Crosses to the new owner. According to state -owned companies, the prison should “get new, demanded functions and return to city life, remaining part of the tourist infrastructure.”
After the sale of 80 % of the revenue, Dom.rf will transfer the “Scientific and Production Association of the Criminal Executive System”-a company subordinate to the Federal Penitentiary Service.
