"Medusa": an official who oversee the elections will leave the Kremlin

The head of the Department for Support for the Council of the State Council, Alexander Kharichev, will leave the Presidential Administration (AP) of Russia. Previously, he oversaw all Russian and the election was supposed to work on the presidential campaign in 2024. This was reported by the Medusa publication with reference to sources close to the Kremlin.

Why Kharichev leave the Kremlin. The official will leave his post on "health status". Harichev "gathers [health] after several years of nervous work."

The third interlocutor told reporters that some high -ranking security officials insist on a resignation of an AP employee. According to him, the military “arose claims” to “referendums on the accession of Russia” of self -proclaimed DPR and LPR, as well as occupied by the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions.

According to the source of Medusa, the security forces “did not go into internal affairs”, however, “in referenda, everyone was cooked in one boiler” - APB officials, FSB officers and the military. The latter “struck the scale of the expenses” aimed at conducting a “vote” in the occupied regions of Ukraine. It is not known how much money the Russian authorities spent on the “referendums”.

What did Harichev do. The official has been working with the first deputy head of the AP Sergey Kiriyenko since the beginning of the 2000s. Kharichev collaborated with him by the president’s envoy in the Volga Federal District, after which he moved to AP.

Later, Kharichev also worked with Kiriyenko at the Rosatom State Corporation, and in 2016 he moved to the Kremlin after him. According to Medusa, the official oversaw the election campaigns - the 2018 presidential election, the vote on the amendments of the 2020 Constitution, the State Duma elections in 2021.

According to the publication, Kharichev also worked on “problematic” campaigns of governors. In particular, he oversaw the governor's elections in St. Petersburg, where Alexander Beglov won.

During the work of the official, the victory of state candidates began to be provided not only by direct falsifications, but also by the forced vote of state employees, Medusa noted.
