In Ulan-Ude, security forces detained and already released picketer Sayana Astrakhantseva - she came out in support of Natalya Filonova, a person involved in the “anti-war cause.” This was reported by Sibir.Realii.
Astrakhantseva was taken to the department, her phone was taken away, and she refused to tell her relatives where she was. A few hours later, the picketer was released without drawing up a report.
- Pensioner Natalya Filonova has been under house arrest since October 22 in a criminal case of violence against police officers. According to investigators, on September 26, while in the courthouse, a woman hit one policeman with her hand and poked another in the face with a pen. The security forces consider the episode with the pen to be “violence dangerous to life and health,” since the object allegedly touched the policeman’s face close to the eye.
- On November 17, a court in Ulan-Ude sent Filonova to a pre-trial detention center. Before this, she was charged with another episode of dangerous violence - according to investigators, she broke a policeman’s finger. As a sign of protest, the woman went on a hunger strike.
