The author of the “Protest MSU” channel, Dmitry Ivanov, who was arrested under the article about “fake news” about the Russian army, ceased to be registered in pre-trial detention center-5 “Vodnik”. He was transported there on November 11. This was reported by the telegram channel “Prison Moscow State University”, created in support of the arrested person.
Letters that were sent to Ivanov in pre-trial detention center-5 began to be returned on November 28 with the mark “not listed.” It is unknown where the arrested person is now.
23-year-old activist Dmitry Ivanov was detained on June 2, when he was supposed to finish 25 days of administrative arrest under the article on repeated violation of the procedure for holding an action (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). On June 3, the court sent him to a pre-trial detention center on charges of disseminating knowingly false information about the activities of the armed forces of the Russian Federation motivated by hatred (clause “d”, part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).
The reason for initiating the case was publications in the “Protest MGU” channel about Russian attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and on cities in Ukraine, about the losses of Russian aviation in the war, crimes in Bucha and Irpen , as well as a post where the “special operation” is called war.
In August, the activist's case went to court.
November 30 The telegram channel “Prison MSU” reports that Dmitry Ivanov was not transported anywhere from pre-trial detention center-5 “Vodnik”. The letters addressed to him received the status “not listed in the institution” due to a technical failure.
On November 29, the text of the news clarified information about the letters that had not reached Ivanov. On November 30, the headline was changed due to new information.
