The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation recognized the Lithuanian Center for Riddle as an unwanted organization

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office announced an unwanted organization of the Lithuanian Analytical Center Riddle.
The press service of the department says that the center of the Center "poses a threat to the foundations of the constitutional system and security of the Russian Federation."
The Riddle Center is engaged in the study and analysis of political processes taking place in Russia.
The organization’s mission on the site is determined as follows: "Providing readers with quality analytics, creating an expert community and promoting a new generation of experts involved in the study of Russia."
The recognition of the organization is undesirable means that any of its activities in Russia is prohibited, and cooperation with it can lead to initiation of a criminal case and punishment in the form of imprisonment.
The law on unwanted organizations in Russia was adopted in 2015. Russian and foreign human rights activists have repeatedly made his criticism.
