In the Irkutsk region, investigators detained the head of the Artyomovsky municipality Maxim Petrov, he is suspected of negligence. On November 26, in the village of Artemovsky, the emergency mode was introduced due to the fact that 13 houses were left without heat.

According to the regional Investigative Committee, the criminal case against Petrov was instituted under two articles - "negligence" and "providing services that do not meet security requirements."

On November 26, due to the impulse on the water conduit in the village, 13 houses were left without heat, where 64 people live, including 8 children. The injured people moved to school and municipal apartments. Heat supply is still not restored. Engineering work is complicated by weather conditions: in the north of the region there are frosts up to -40 degrees.

The head of the Bodaibinsky district, Yevgeny Yumashev, explained Babr Mash that the fault that Petrov in September, on the eve of the heating season, changed the heat supply company. The new contractor from Kamchatka has no resources, says Yumashev. The official added that he could not remove the head of the settlement from his post, since the "not mechanism".
