How Stepan was in Ukraine and why the contract terminated. Fontanka writes that until 2020, the man worked as a fireman, and then signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense.

In February, Stepan was sent to the war zone, where he spent several days. After that, he refused to take up new combat missions and achieved the termination of the contract. According to Stepan, he was not ready to return for "moral and psychological reasons"

"Fontanka" with reference to Stepan writes that he tried to quit a month before a full-scale invasion of Ukraine due to problems with his lower back.

What happened after the announcement of the "partial mobilization." On September 26, the man found the agenda in which he was ordered to appear at the military registration and enlistment office of the Nevsky district. He went there to ask for a delay, but he was refused, and already on September 27 he and other mobilized were taken to the educational part. When Stepan was driving there, he lost his passport jacket.

In the educational part, Stepan experienced problems with sleep and reacted sharply to loud sounds - he was not helped by the anti -aircraft drug purchased in a pharmacy after returning from the war zone.

Stepan tried to achieve the restoration of the passport, since he needed a document to solve the family issue. According to him, the wife will have a serious operation and she may not survive anesthesia. She has a son from the past marriage - there are no other relatives, so Stepan wants to issue guardianship, writes Fontanka.

In addition, the Fontanka reports, Stepan wrote many reports about health problems, about the psychological state and the family situation, but they were not successful.

In the unit, Stepan explained to the assistant and commander that he could not return to the war zone. They promised to help and brought him out of the state. On October 16, when the mobilized were sent to Ukraine, the commander made Stepan out of order. After that, the political officer called Stepan a deserter and a blasphemy, and a couple of days later he was sent to the assembly point on Zakharyevskaya Street.

In the assembly point, Stepan got to a psychiatrist who took him three times, made a preliminary diagnosis of neurasthenia, but refused to draw up the suitability category, referring to the “directive”, the publication claims.

Stepan turned to the military prosecutor’s office with a demand to cancel the decision to mobilize, and on November 25, not having achieved answers to questions and appeals, the man arbitrarily left the assembly point. Now he intends to restore his passport and undergo an independent psychiatric examination.
