The EU countries have agreed to introduce a price ceiling for Russian oil at $60 per barrel. This was stated by the representative of Poland at the talks Andrzej Sados.
Sados also noted that after January 15, the ceiling will be regularly reviewed depending on changes in oil prices: it will have to be at least 5% lower than the current cost of Russian oil on world markets.
The decision must be approved by the EU Council, it is expected that this will happen on December 3.
