Russian websites of Elle, Elle Girl and Elle Decoration magazines will stop working

The media group Shkulev Media Holding closes the Russian websites of Elle, Elle Girl and Elle Decoration due to the termination of the license agreement. This was reported by the press service of the company to TASS.

“We are not talking about extending the license agreement for 2023, so we have decided to close the sites,” said Viktor Shkulev, President of Shkulev Media Holding, in the company.

According to the press service of the media group, editorial staff of closed sites will be offered work in other projects of the holding.

• In June, Shkulev Media Holding suspended the publication of Elle, Elle Decoration, Elle Girl and Maxim magazines in Russia. “These magazines cannot be published because there are no brands on the market that are traditionally advertising partners of our media group,” Viktor Shkulev, head of the media group, explained.
• Against the background of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions that followed, many foreign brands have suspended or stopped their work in the Russian Federation.
